	The Winchester in Bloom Annual floral competition Winchester in Bloom 2010 Holy Trinity invite you to become a sponsor of an extraordinary community-building event. The success of any community relies on the support from all its neighbours. The parishioners here at Holy Trinity are entering, 'The Winchester in Bloom' competition in July 2010. This will be the first EVER entry for a church. Yes, the snow has gone and July seems far away but we need to put the wheels in motion, as a lot of hard work and expense will be involved. The overall judging will be carried out by Winchester in Bloom but we will hold an 'in house'competiton for the best basket from our neighbours with a prize of vouchers. We will need in excess of 20 hanging baskets to adorn the avenue of trees from the main gate to the church. What we would like is for you to plant up a basket or donate say £10 and we will plant one for you , only those planted by you can enter the competition. Maybe your children would like to enter the spirit of the scheme, in which case we will have a category for children's entries. We hope with your generosity and the congregation, we will have a wonderful display. Enhancing your neighbourhood and creating a pleasant walk through the grounds for all to enjoy. We are still in the planning stage, we hope to have a theme and we would be grateful for any suggestions. We hopel alsoto include our local school for children to take par and we will be inviting the city centre shops to take part.
