A brand new Church for central Winchester opened its doors in 1854 and has been serving the community ever since.

If you study the picture there have been a few changes a porch was added and a vestry not to mention the church halls now on the right of the picture.

The Elms lining the path are just saplings here but in reality they are coming to the end of their lives with an estimated age of around 150 years.

 

Holy Trinity amongst the limes, as you can see the Limes are a good bit older now .

The Church is lasting better than the trees.

If you wish to visit the church the doors are open

Tuesdays from 10 till 12 noon. Weds. 10 till 12 noon,

and

Thursday 11 am till about 2 pm.

A phone call to one of the church wardens or the Rector will confirm times

And Sundays of course

Every Wednesday

6pm till 9pm.

SUNDAY MASS 10.30AM AS USUAL

NO EVENSONG

NO TUESDAY SERVICE

THURSDAY LOW MASS AT 11.30 WITH ANGELUS

IN THE SMALL HALL

We regret this action but it is due  to a serious leak in the central heating which will entail digging up some of the floor.

During this very cold spell it was felt to be more sensible to evacuate to a warmer clime.
